Upcoming Japanese Blu-ray and DVD Releases for 'Crayon Shin-chan' Anime Movies
To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Crayon Shin-chan anime movie series, Bandai Namco Filmworks will release several of the movies on home media in Japan, under the Bandai Visual label, between November 2022 and December 2023. Eiga Crayon Shin-chan: Mononoke Ninja Chinfuuden will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on November 11. The Blu-ray and DVD will retail for 5,280 yen and 4,180 yen (plus tax) respectively. The special features consist of a creditless version of the opening and ending theme, special news of the movie, a trailer, a TV spot collection, and a collection of setting materials. The first 19 movies will be released on Blu-ray for the first time, under a "Blu-ray conversion project" that will begin rolling out in December. Each Blu-ray will retail for 5,280 yen (plus tax).
