Angoulême International Comics Festival Hosts L'Attaque des Titans Exhibition in January 2023

 

The official Twitter account of the Angoulême International Comics Festival announced on Wednesday that for the first time in Europe an exhibition dedicated to L'Attaque des Titans ("The Attack of the Titans") will be hosted during the festival's 50th edition in January 2023. Original creator Hajime Isayama will be present during the exhibition.

The 50th edition of the Angoulême International Comics Festival will run in France from January 26 to January 29, 2023. 

Known in Japan as Shingeki no Kyojin, the franchise originated as a manga by Isayama, which was serialized in Besatsu Shonen Magazine from 2009 to 2021. An anime adaptation has aired on Japanese television since 2013. The 1st and 2nd seasons aired on MBS from April 2012 to June 2017. New episodes have aired on NHK General Television since July 2018. The 4th season premiered in December 2020.

The manga is published in France by Pika Edition, while Wakanim streams the anime series.
