Diábolo Ediciones Releases David Heredia's 'Osamu Tezuka: El don de la imaginación' Book in October

 

Translator and author David Heredia Pitarch announced on Twitter last Friday that his biographical essay Osamu Tezuka: El don de la imaginación ("Osamu Tezuka: The Gift of Imagination") will be published in Spain by Diábolo Ediciones in late October 2022. The book is divided into 12 chapters and explores the life and artistic periods of manga pioneer Osamu Tezuka. Retailing at 25,95€, the book will be released in 17x24 cm format with cardboard binding and 280 color pages. 

David Heredia Pitarch is known for writing the books Las 100 mejores películas anime ("The 100 Best Anime Movies") and Gainax y Hideaki Anno: La historia de los creadores de Evangelion ("Gainax and Hideaki Anno: The Story of the Creators of Evangelion") .

Known as the "God of Manga", Osamu Tezuka created over 700 works during his professional manga career from the late 1940s until his death in 1989. Some of his notable works include Tetsuwan Atom and Ribon no Kishi (known in Spain as Astro Boy and La princesa caballero respectively).
